The unique graphic universe of the most incredible of today's Dutch animators is now available on DVD.

The Mind My Gap Trilogy consists of three short films, all based upon and referring to the graphic novel as published on the internet: www.rostoad.com. The films have been described as "hyper intense cinematic experiences".

The trilogy features: Beheaded, the first film to emerge from the GAP-universe originally produced for television in 1999. The film has been remixed and remastered for the DVD. (3 min.)

The rise and fall of the legendary Anglobilly Feverson. The film premiered in 2002 was described as a cryptic roadmovie through the sky where Kerouac meets Méliès. Anglobilly Feverson once flew off to leave his cursed life behind and check the other side. His journey to the hole in the sky was long and exhausting. The film built an excellent track-record of international prestigious festivals. (10 min)

Jona/Tomberry, recently awarded at the Cannes Film Festival 2005, impressively completes the trilogy. This is arguably the most inscrutable of the trilogy, containing the most explicit references to the basic themes of the graphic novel: timelines, places and plots seem to have lost their logical relationships, suggesting that there is no reason in this world. You are lost and there's no other option than just accepting, experiencing and enjoying it for as long as it lasts. (12 min)

The Related Early Work section on the DVD shows guerilla videos in which Rosto explores techniques and ideas in style, narrative and design. It is a prologue to the eventual trilogy by all means though, making this DVD an essential document for any devotee of art, film and animation.
